Expression of interest: Te ara whakatika: the path of making things right equity project
We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity to work with Te Tāhū Hauora Health Quality & Safety Commission’s (the Commission) Trauma programme team on the scoping and delivery of Te ara whakatika: the path of making things right equity project.
This project is a partnership between the Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Trauma National Clinical Network, the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC), and the Commission. It forms part of a broader programme to establish a modern, equitable trauma system of care in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The project’s goal is to ensure that Māori — and ideally all — patients who experience major trauma can access the post-discharge rehabilitation services they need, in proportion to their specific needs.
We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals with:
- clinical, cultural, or consumer expertise to join an Expert Advisory Group
- a Māori Clinical Lead (0.2 FTE)
Further details are provided in the linked expression of interest documents below. The deadline for submissions is Friday, 29 August 2025.
